Actress and comedian Roseanne Barr made a significant change in her life by relocating to her macadamia nut farm in Hawaii, embracing a healthier lifestyle. She’s even shifted to a more plant-based diet!
Together with her longtime partner Johnny Argen, the aspiring farmer has been savoring the tranquility of their 46-acre estate.
In 2007, Barr purchased the 2,212-square-foot Hawaiian retreat for $1.78 million, which boasts breathtaking 360-degree views of the lush surrounding landscape.
The house, featuring three bedrooms and three and a half baths, has been Barr’s serene sanctuary during her later years.
Barr finds great joy in bringing her granddaughters to the farm, where they can enjoy the tranquil surroundings together. She once shared an adorable photo of herself and her granddaughters walking across a vast grassy field, capturing a tender moment between grandparent and grandchild.
While cherishing this sweet scene, fans couldn’t help but notice the contrast between the iconic comedian she once was and the loving grandmother she is today.
Barr gave an unfiltered glimpse into her life when she shared a photo of herself soundly asleep amidst a clutter of boxes, clothes, and a laptop. Instagram users playfully commented on the image, with one captioning it, “Shop till you drop,” while another suggested, “Fire your housekeeper!!!!”
In response, one person remarked, “No, she doesn’t need to fire her housekeeper. She’s the one making all the mess! It’s really sad to see her like this—so depressing! I know nobody’s perfect, but it’s hard to see her, a huge celebrity, in this state. Yes, everyone has bad days, but come on—you’re better than this!”
