Twitter users who were originally perplexed by the image came to understand that the child was holding a bag of popcorn, whose hue was quite similar to the uneven grass she was standing on.

Most likely, she and her family were at a fair or event where parking was available on grass. Her magnificent bag of popcorn was arranged so that it blended in with the grass, making her legs appear fairly slender. However, she does not appear to be happy.
