Because he didn’t know what was on the other side, he was first afraid to approach it. But as time went on, this cave proved to be a valuable resource for the neighborhood and nearby scholars.
There are countless wonders on Earth, each one more magnificent than the last. The truth is that a great deal of what exists in our world is invisible to the naked sight.
The cave was first discovered in 1991 by a Vietnamese farmer; it seemed to be undiscovered at the time. It was located in Vietnam’s Phon Nha-Ke Bang National Park. Unfortunately, he was unable to enter as well due to the tremendous boom of the water that met him at the doorway.
It took some time before British explorers made the decision to enter the cave, and what they found there utterly stopped them in their tracks.

Inside the cave are lakes with crystal clear water, rivers, and the best sand on earth. Soon Dong, measuring five kilometers in length and 150 meters in breadth, is the world’s largest known cave.
The fact that this incredible cave has clouds, plants, and even animals is the most astounding feature of all.
To get there, you have to rappel down 80 meters, but the experience is definitely worth it.
