He Had Been Playing on the Streets Since 13 — Then He Took the BGT Stage by Storm

At just 19 years old, Tim Newman stepped onto the Britain’s Got Talent stage with his guitar and a dream of making it as a performer. Having started playing gigs at a young age, he already had plenty of experience entertaining audiences, but the BGT stage was a completely different challenge.

Tim quickly showed that he was much more than just a talented guitarist. His confident vocals and energetic performance brought a fresh twist to two well-known pop classics, “I Wanna Dance with Somebody” and “Girls Just Want to Have Fun.” The unexpected combination immediately caught the judges’ attention and had the audience enjoying every moment.

What could have been a nerve-racking audition turned into a memorable performance that proved Tim was ready for a much bigger spotlight. His youthful energy, musical ability, and natural stage presence made it clear that this young performer had plenty of potential to go far.
