Worries are mounting about Matt LeBlanc’s health one year after the death of his friend and former “Friends” co-star, Matthew Perry.
Sources indicate that LeBlanc, 57, has become more withdrawn, leading friends like Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox to reach out more often.
An insider from Radar Online revealed that he has become “such a recluse these days” that his loved ones seldom hear from him.
Aniston, in particular, has been a constant source of support, visiting him regularly and even staying overnight to provide companionship. She is said to enjoy cooking, watching movies, and engaging in quiet conversations with him during her visits.
LeBlanc, who has not taken on any new projects since the 2021 “Friends” reunion, had a profound connection with Perry. Following Perry’s death, LeBlanc was the first among the cast to pay tribute, posting an emotional message on Instagram in which he reflected on their friendship: “It was an honor to share the stage with you and to call you my friend.”
He continued, “Spread your wings and fly, brother. You’re finally free.” This heartfelt tribute underscored the depth of his loss, as he had lived near Perry at the time of his passing and maintained a close bond that extended beyond their iconic roles as Joey and Chandler on “Friends.”
Despite being worth an estimated $85 million, LeBlanc’s choice to retreat from the public eye has heightened concerns about his emotional well-being, particularly considering his introverted disposition.
In previous interviews, he differentiated himself from his “Friends” character, Joey, stating: “People will always ask if I’m all right because I’m much more low-key and reserved than my character in Friends. They think that I’m depressed or sad… but that’s just not who I am,” as reported by MSN. However, there are worries that the combination of his lack of active projects and his grief could be affecting him adversely.

Our thoughts are with Matt LeBlanc during this challenging time.
