A Johnny Depp fan recently shared images and videos of the actor, highlighting a significant improvement in his teeth, which had previously concerned many of his followers.
The post originated from a bartender at Lorraine’s Cafe & High Tide in the Bahamas, known on social media as @killerbartender.
The recent footage of Depp captivated viewers who were delighted to see his healthier-looking smile, a stark contrast to his previously damaged teeth. In the videos, Depp was seen sampling one of the bartender’s cocktail creations. Impressed by the drink, the actor humorously advised the bartender, “You better copyright this immediately.”

The clips also featured Depp standing next to a piece of artwork portraying him as Captain Jack Sparrow, his iconic character from the “Pirates of the Caribbean” franchise.
The post quickly gained traction, with numerous fans commenting on the actor’s enhanced appearance, especially his teeth.

In a second, longer video posted later, bartender Rap Rap Zoilo documented his late-night encounter with the star in Exuma. The footage showed Zoilo shaking hands with the 61-year-old Depp multiple times as the actor interacted with other patrons. Zoilo shared his excitement about meeting the Hollywood icon, calling it a “once-in-a-lifetime moment.”
The conversation about Depp’s teeth is not new. In May 2023, fans voiced their concerns when photos emerged of his decayed teeth during his appearance at the Cannes Film Festival.

At that time, social media users expressed their worries, with one commenter stating, “Johnny Depp’s teeth are literally rotting away.” This remark accompanied a photo of the actor at the 76th Cannes Film Festival in France, where his brown and decayed teeth were visible during the screening of “Jeanne du Barry”.
Interestingly, this wasn’t the first occasion that Depp’s dental choices had ignited discussion. In 2003, while getting ready for his role as Captain Jack Sparrow, Depp made a daring choice to have gold caps placed on his front teeth to fully embody the character.
His decision surprised Disney executives and producer Jerry Bruckheimer, who were initially uneasy about the appearance. “Jerry was slightly uncomfortable, and the Disney executives weren’t exactly enthusiastic about it,” Depp reflected on this in an interview with the “Los Angeles Times”.
However, he stood firm in his choice, telling them, “‘Look, these are the choices I made. You know my work. So either trust me or give me the boot.’ And luckily, they didn’t.” Fortunately, they chose to trust him. Although he did compromise by removing some of the gold caps, Depp’s commitment to the role contributed significantly to his iconic portrayal of the swashbuckling pirate.
