When you see someone doing something you find odd or disapprove of, ask yourself: is it causing harm to anyone else?
Hair length and style are personal choices that don’t impact others negatively. Respecting these choices is important, regardless of personal preferences. What matters is the individual’s satisfaction with their own appearance.
Imagine how you’d feel if someone mocked your looks.
Despite this simple concept, many people struggle to grasp it and feel compelled to comment on everything, including the hairstyles of young boys. All six boys faced bullying because of their long hair. The harassment didn’t just come from peers but also from adults—who, of all people, should know better.
What the bullies failed to understand was that these boys were growing their hair out for a meaningful cause. After losing a family friend to cancer, especially one close in age, the boys were deeply affected and wanted to contribute in a positive way.
Determined to help, all six boys decided to grow their hair and donate it to the nonprofit organization, Children with Hair Loss. After months of growing, they were able to donate an impressive 17 feet of hair!
