These tricks work for blinds that are vertical or horizontal (fabric blinds excluded). Dust off your blinds first. You can use a handheld vacuum, a microfiber cloth, an old sock on your hand, or a specialty duster made for blinds.
Cleaning the Blinds
After dusting, fill a bowl or bucket with warm water and a few drops of liquid dish soap. Dip a clean microfiber cloth into the solution, wring it out, and clean each blind individually. Keep dipping and wringing out the cloth as needed.
