Effortless Blind Cleaning: How to Refresh Your Blinds Without Taking Them Down

Have you ever observed how dust collects on your blinds? In addition to being unsightly, dust can also draw dust mites, which aggravate allergy sufferers. Thankfully, there’s a quick and low-effort method for cleaning your blinds.

Cleaning Advice

These tricks work for blinds that are vertical or horizontal (fabric blinds excluded). Dust off your blinds first. You can use a handheld vacuum, a microfiber cloth, an old sock on your hand, or a specialty duster made for blinds.

Cleaning the Blinds

After dusting, fill a bowl or bucket with warm water and a few drops of liquid dish soap. Dip a clean microfiber cloth into the solution, wring it out, and clean each blind individually. Keep dipping and wringing out the cloth as needed.

And that’s it! Not too tedious, right? For a step-by-step visual guide, watch the video below.
