On the internet, a six-year-old boy’s drawing and his teacher’s response to it created quite a stir and split people’ views.
The parents who were telling this story specifically described how one day the teacher contacted and told them that they needed to come to the school for a serious conversation.
When parents asked their son whether he had done anything wrong before heading to school, all he said was that his teacher didn’t like what he had drawn.
“The next day, when we arrived, his teacher showed us the drawing and said, ‘It looks like he drew his family. Could you please explain?'” The dad posted it to his social media accounts.
The illustration showed what appeared to be four individuals wearing cords around their necks. And well, if anyone didn’t know what the boy was trying to draw the drawing itself does seem alarming.
The parents clarified that the family was actually snorkeling off the Bahamas in the picture.
However, the father’s tweet sparked an online debate about whether or not the instructor had cause to be concerned about the image.
While some contended that she ought to have questioned the child first, others countered that a six-year-old isn’t even capable of speaking the truth.
One wrote, “This is bloody hysteria.” “Who needs that drama, really?”
“This is an emergency meeting, right? Although it’s not the greatest drawing, I believe it to be quite clear. A another user wrote.
Another person questioned, “What kind of teacher was this?” “Kids are innocent… they enjoy drawing innocent things.”
People who supported the teacher’s response said things like, “Even if this is a false alarm, I would still like to know. “The teacher made the right decision,” and “It’s better to be safe than sorry.” These actions have prevented fatalities. Sincerely.
