The Young Heroes: 12 Kids and a Dog Recognized for Their Crime-Busting Deeds

Thanks to the group of “human arrow” youngsters who guided the police to the robbers during our amazing adventure, any child may be a hero!

The teenagers, known online as “Tremendous Twelve,” rose to fame after they created a human arrow that expertly directed a police helicopter toward two evading burglary suspects. Like the fictitious characters of Enid Blyton, they also traveled with their trusty dog, a Yorkshire terrier named Molly.

The kids, who first discussed their amazing experience with The Mail on Sunday, stated yesterday, “We feel really proud – it was awesome.” They were on an Easter egg search in the middle of a field in Capel, Surrey, when they noticed the helicopter circling. They ranged in age from six to twelve.

A nine-year-old girl remembered, “It was really noisy, and we could see it said “police” on the bottom.” Then we saw a man dash over the border of the field. After taking off his sweater, the man was observed putting it around his head.

She went on, “They were trying to scream at the pilot.”

She continued by saying that even though they were screaming and yelling for the chopper to turn toward the man, it was actually pointing in the other direction.

Then, two of my friends said, “Let’s get into an arrow,” and we took our places on the ground.

After a minute or so of resting in the dirt, the youngsters noticed the helicopter approaching.
